McLaren-Mercedes avoid last pit area

It has been reported this morning, that McLaren-Mercedes, instead of being relegated to the bottom of the pitlane given the point penalty received in 2007 for the spy scandal, will occupy the fifth pit area this season. F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, discussed the issue with other F1 teams and an agreement has been made. The Woking-based team will have the fifth garage, between At&T Williams and Red Bull Racing.
