Luca ColajanniScuderia Ferrari’s official spokesman Luca Colajanni has confirmed this morning that Felipe Massa’s spin last Sunday during the Malaysian Grand Prix, was mainly caused by the Brazilian and not by a technical problem on his F2008. The Italian explained that Massa touched ‘slightly’ the kerb and consequently his car spun into the gravel.

“Felipe went slightly on the kerb exiting turn six and therefore the car stalled aerodynamically. As a consequence, he lost the rear in turn seven and spun”, said Colajanni.

The Italian has also denied recent rumors that double world champion Fernando Alonso would’ve already reached an agreement with the Maranello-based team for 2009 season. “There is no such contract between Fernando Alonso and Ferrari,” Colajanni told to Motorsport Aktuell. “We would like to remind you once again that we already have two drivers committed for the 2009 season,” he added.
