Lewis HamiltonMcLaren’s Lewis Hamilton has won today the 59th edition of the British Grand Prix, in a race affected by continuous weather changes, and has moved up to the Drivers’ standings reaching Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen (all on 48 points). The McLaren-Mercedes driver finished ahead of second placed Nick Heidfeld and, following a successful race strategy at the right time, of third Rubens Barrichello.

Scuderia Ferrari had a difficult race with lots of driver and strategy errors: Kimi Raikkonen was able to finish fourth, while teammate Felipe Massa, who struggled all the race with his car’s grip (spun out 5 times), took a disappointing last place (P13). Fifth place for Heikki Kovalainen ahead of Fernando Alonso (P6), Jarno Trulli (P7) and Kazuki Nakajima (P8).
