ING Renault: Sakon Yamamoto new test driver 

The ING Renault F1 Team announced this morning that 25-year-old Japanese driver Sakon Yamamoto has signed a deal for a test development driver role for the upcoming season. Yamamoto has already raced 14 Grand Prix with Super Aguri and Spyker. Briatore‘s first comments upon the announcement were:…

The Japanese driver added: “I am very excited to join the ING Renault F1 Team for the 2008 season. It is a great honor for me to be associated with a team that has won world championships. I will learn a fantastic amount, and I look forward to contributing in every way the team asks of me.”
