Kovalainen’s lap was set in the morning and was more than half a second quicker than Mark Webber’s best on day 2. David Coulthard placed on 2nd and Kazuki Nakajima on 3rd. Nakajima was followed by Hamilton’s MP4-23, who featured today a new version of carbon fiber covers on the front wheels, and Robert Kubica’s F1.08.
