Hamilton grabs pole position at Monza
First and fourth row for Force India
Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has grabbed his second pole position in the season for Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo di Monza. The Briton clocked a best time of 1:24.066 beating by 0.195 seconds Force India’s Adrian Sutil (1:24.261).
Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen ended up third (1:24.523) ahead of McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen (1:24.845), Brawn GP’s Rubens Barrichello (1:25.015) and Jenson Button (1:25.030), Force India’s Tonio Liuzzi (1:25.043), Renault’s Fernando Alonso (1:25.072) and the two Red Bulls with Sebastian Vettel ninth (1:25.180) and Mark Webber tenth (1:25.314).
Ferrari’s Giancarlo Fisichella made it up to 14th, followed by BMW’s Nick Heidfeld, Toyota’s Timo Glock, Williams’ Kazuki Nakajima and Nico Rosberg, Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari.
