Ferrari F2008 aeroScuderia Ferrari will use new aerodynamic solutions in the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix scheduled for this weekend. In fact, some important solutions were tested this week by Ferrari’s test driver Marc Gene at the Vairano track and are ready to be used for Bahrain. Aldo Costa, Ferrari’s Technical Director, revealed such to Scuderia’s official website: “the plan for this year is that we should have continuous updates throughout the season,” he said. “We aim to improve the package step by step with changes coming for almost every race and in Bahrain we will run some new aero parts,” he added.

Felipe Massa, given the fact he was forced to retire during the Malaysian Grand Prix, would have the chance to use a new engine at Sakhir’s Grand Prix. But apparently, the Maranello team has decided to keep Sepang’s engine in Massa’s F2008: “We will continue to keep a close eye on reliability, especially on the engine side and on this front, at the moment, we will probably run Massa with the same engine he used in Malaysia, even though we could change it, as he failed to finish that race.”
