Stefano Domenicali, Scuderia Ferrari team principalThe Ferrari F1 team has taken note of the International Court of Appeal decision to reject the appeal placed by the team together with the Renault F1 Team, Red Bull Racing and the BMW Sauber regarding the legality of the rear diffuser on three single-seaters: Toyota, Williams and Brawn GP.

“We are waiting to hear the reasons the FIA International Court of Appeal rejected the appeal,” said Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali, after the FIA judged the diffusers as legal and rejected the Scuderia’s appeal.

“Unfortunately this decision forces us to intervene on fundamental areas of the car’s design in order to be able to compete on an equal footing with some of the teams from a point of view of the technical regulations, and that will take time and money. We will now double our efforts to get the team back to the highest level of competitivity,” he added.
