BMW SauberThe BMW Sauber F1 team finished today the work on the car’s setup with regards to the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix. Kubica evaluated different aerodynamic and suspension specs and tested tyres. Although the short version – 3.593 km – of the Paul Ricard circuit offers a significantly higher grip level than the streets of Monte Carlo, the team achieved good progress with the F1.08 car in high downforce configuration.

The car ran without technical problems for the whole session helping the team finish the scheduled test program despite a rain caused break right after lunch.

The Team will continue testing in Le Castellet for one more day. Nick Heidfeld will be the driver on duty on a longer – 5.255 km – and faster layout of Circuit Paul Ricard in preparation for the Canadian Grand Prix.
