F2008 Side ViewThe F1 teams were hoping for improved weather conditions today but, like yesterday, rain in the morning caused problems. Felipe Massa, who caused a red flag in the afternoon, clocked the fastest lap time on his F2008 which had revised aerodynamics and was followed by Mark Webber’s RB4.

Ferrari’s test driver Luca Badoer got the 3rd place, David Coulthard the 4th, Fernando Alonso the 5th, Nico Rosberg the 6th and Timo Glock the 7th. McLaren-Mercedes, given the weather conditions, decided to skip the session.
