Barcelona tests, day 1: Nico Rosberg fastest 

Despite the not so good weather and track conditions, Nico Rosberg had the fastest lap on Day 1 of the pre-season testing session at Barcelona’s circuit. Rosberg was followed by his teammate Kazuki Nakajima (2nd) and Mark Webber (3rd). Fernando Alonso had the 4th lap time, David Coulthard the 5th, Jarno Trulli the 6th and Nelson Piquet the 7th. The tests will continue tomorrow.
