2009 Singapore GP: Vettel tops second practice

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel was the fastest man at the Singapore street circuit during the second free preactice for Sunday’s 2009 Singapore Grand Prix. The German completed 31 laps, the fastest in 1:48.650, 0.274 seconds ahead of Renault’s Fernando Alonso (1:48.924).
Third fastest time for McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen (1:48.952) ahead of BMW’s Nick Heidfeld (1:49.098), Brawn GP’s Jenson Button (1:49.311), Red Bull’s Mark Webber (1:49.317), Williams’ Nico Rosberg (1:49.333) and Toyota’s Timo Glock (1:49.342).
14th time for Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen (1:49.941) followed by Williams’ Kazuki Nakajima (1:50.023), team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella (1:50.253) and Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi (1:50.527).
