2009 German GP: Hamilton tops Saturday practice 

Button 11th after problems with tyre temperature

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton has climbed again on top of the timesheets in the final free practice for Sunday’s 2009 German Grand Prix. The Briton completed 16 laps, the quickest in 1:31.121 beating by 0.219 seconds Renault’s Fernando Alonso (1:31.340).

Third time for Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (1:31.351) ahead of Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel (1:31.542), Mark Webber (1:31.610), Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen (1:31.615), Toyota’s Jarno Trulli (1:31.620) and Williams duo with Nico Rosberg (1:31.690) ahead of team-mate Kazuki Nakajima (1:31.731).

The drivers will be back at the Nurburgring track in less than 2 hours for the qualifying session for Sunday’s race.
