2009 Abu Dhabi GP: Button tops final practice
Hamilton second fastest, Barrichello third
2009 world champion Jenson Button has climbed on top of the timesheets in the final free practice for Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Briton clocked a best time of 1:40.625, just 0.002 seconds faster than McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (1:40.627).
Third fastest time for Brawn GP’s Rubens Barrichello (1:40.907) ahead of Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi (1:40.934), BMW’s Nick Heidfeld (1:41.241), McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen (1:41.263), Toyota’s Jarno Trulli (1:41.310) and BMW’s Robert Kubica (1:41.322).
10th time for Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen (1:41.373) followed by Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel (1:41.403), Williams’ Nico Rosberg (1:41.478), Toyota’s Kamui Kobayashi (1:41.499) and Force India’s Tonio Liuzzi (1:41.675).
Last place with no time set for Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari, after a hydraulics failure.
