Yet another pole for Vettel in China

Sebastian VettelRed Bull’s Sebastian Vettel has claimed his third pole position in the season at Shanghai ahead of team-mate Mark Webber.

The young German clocked a best time of 1:34.558, beating by 0.248 seconds Mark Webber (1:34.806) and by 0.355 Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso (1:34.913).

Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg managed to secure the fourth place on Sunday’s Chinese grid (1:34.923) ahead of McLaren’s Jenson Button (1:34.979), Lewis Hamilton (1:35.034), Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (1:35.180), Renault’s Robert Kubica (1:35.364), team-mate Michael Schumacher (1:35.646) and Force India’s Adrian Sutil (1:35.963).

Williams’ Rubens Barrichello ended up 11th and was followed by Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari, Sebastien Buemi, Renault’s Vitaly Petrov, Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi, team-mate Nico Hulkenberg, Sauber’s Pedro de la Rosa and Force India’s Tonio Liuzzi.
