Video, 2008 Singapore Grand Prix (night race): Felipe Massa pit stop incident

During the inaugural 2008 Singapore Grand Prix at the new Marina Bay Street Circuit and while on Felipe Massa‘s first pit stop, Ferrari’s semi-automatic light system which replaces the classic lollipop, malfunctioned and gave prematurely the green light to the Brazilian. As a consequence, Massa joined the pit lane with the fuel hose still attached to his F2008. He then had to stop at the end of the pitlane and wait for the Ferrari mechanics in order to detach the hose.
