Vettel grabs Korea pole in another Red Bull front row
Webber second, Alonso third
Red Bull Racing locked up the front row of the inaugural Korean Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel on pole position for the ninth time this season, ahead of team mate Mark Webber.
The German clocked a best time of 1:35.585, beating the Australian by 0.074 seconds (1:35.659).
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso qualified third (1:35.766) and was followed by McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (1:36.062), Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg (1:36.535), Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (1:36.571), McLaren’s Jenson Button (1:36.731), Renault’s Robert Kubica (1:36.824), Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher (1:36.950) and Williams’ Rubens Barrichello (1:36.998).
Nico Hulkenberg qualified 11th in the other Williams ahead of Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi, Nick Heidfeld and Force India’s Adrian Sutil.
Renault’s Vitaly Petrov qualified 15th but will drop five places following his penalty for the race start incident in Japan.
