STR Toro RossoAccording to latest reports, the Scuderia Toro Rosso will race this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix with the old car, the STR2B. The debut of the new STR3 would have been postponed due to a lack of spare parts. The team had to postpone the car’s race debut, following Sebastien Bourdais’ crash in the Barcelona test session prior to the Spanish Grand Prix where the young Frenchman damaged seriously the only STR3 sample available.

STR’s co-owner Gerhard Berger, however, would have suggested that given Monaco’s circuit potential pitfalls, the STR3 will probably debut at the Canadian Grand Prix, scheduled for June 6th, 7th and 8th.
