Sebastian Vettel grabs SPA pole, Hamilton P2

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel took yet another pole position today – his 24th career pole – ahead of Sunday’s 2011 Belgian Grand Prix at the historic Spa Francorchamps circuit.
The German set a best time of 1:48.298, beating by 0.432 seconds McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (1:48.730) and by 1.077 team-mate Mark Webber (1:49.376).
Ferrari’s Felipe Massa finished fourth fastest (1:50.256), Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg fifth fastest (1:50.552), Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari an amazing sixth fastest (1:50.773), Renault’s Bruno Senna seventh fastest (1:51.121), Fernando Alonso eighth fastest (1:51.251) and Sauber’s Sergio Perez ninth fastest (1:51.374).
Vitaly Petrov qualified 10th ahead of Sebastien Buemi, Kamui Kobayashi, Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, Adrian Sutil, Pastor Maldonado, Heikki Kovalainen, Paul Di Resta, Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock.
Local driver Jerome D’Ambrosio along with Tonio Liuzzi, Daniel Ricciardo and Michael Schumacher failed to qualify within the 107% time set at 2:10.339.
