Scuderia Ferrari reveals F2008 launch date
Following their win in both Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship in a 2007 Formula One season marked by spy scandals, the Maranello based team are already concentrating towards the 2008 Championship. Therefore, the new car for 2008 season, the F2008, is ready to be assembled and will be presented on January 6, next year at Maranello.
This was announced by Ferrari CEO Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and General Director Jean Todt: “The day after, (January 7, 2008), the F2008 will make its track debut at Fiorano’s circuit”.
The announcement was given during the traditional Christmas dinner with the Italian press, where among other things the 2007 budget was discussed, a year that has brought the two titles back at Maranello: “Winning was even greater, because it was tough, for many unexpected, but highly desired”, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo added.
