Qatar seeking for F1 Grand Prix at Losail Circuit 

According to latest reports, Qatar is planning to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix, following the footsteps of Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. The President of Qatar’s motorsports federation, Khalifa al-Attiyah, revealed this morning that there’s the intent to upgrade the Losail Circuit, currently used for MotoGP night races, to a circuit capable of hosting a Formula One Grand Prix. “We will be shortly inviting tenders for the job and once we decide on whom to award the contract, work will start soon,” al-Attiyah was quoted as saying by local newspaper Gulf Times.”Formula One teams can use the track for testing which will put Qatar on the map and also help us earn good revenue”.
