Nico Rosberg: new 2 year deal with Williams signed 

German newspaper Bild, revealed this morning that Nico Rosberg signed a new 2 year deal with Williams. Rosberg’s first comment when congratulated by the newspaper was: “Oh yes, thank you, that was supposed to be a secret. But, in fact, I am looking forward to two more years here with Williams.”

“I wanted to race into Formula 1 at any price,” Rosberg said. “Williams made me an attractive, far better offer with a new contract up to 2009 and I decided to accept it. Williams never intented to sell me to McLaren, that’s why the rumored deal with the Woking-based team never took place” Nico continued. “I could imagine myself joining McLaren just like I could see myself at Ferrari in 2008. Every young driver wants a car that can bring you the title.”
