Nick Heidfeld: “F1.08 is making progress”

Despite the troubled start, Nick Heidfeld has agreed with his teammate Robert Kubica on BMW-Sauber’s F1.08 single-seater progress during the latest test sessions. During the initial testing period Heidfeld had expressed concerns over the car’s handling compared to F1.07. But following Barcelona’s test session, the German said: “With the new modifications, we can steer the car much more accurately. We don’t know the car well enough yet. There’s still so much to do before the Australian Grand Prix, so it’s impossible to make any predictions.”
