Max MosleyFIA President Max Mosley has agreed to meet the F1 drivers, unhappy with the increased cost of the Super licence. The German magazine Auto Motor und Sport had anticipated that drivers threaten to go on strike at the British Grand Prix but the news were confirmed on Thursday during the press conference in France.

The Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) wrote a letter to Mosley lamenting the 10.000 euros basic fee plus the 2.000 euros for every point gained in last year’s championship needed to obtain the Super licence. An FIA spokesman has confirmed that Mosley has replied to the GPDA’s letter and agreed to meet the drivers.
