Jean Todt: short interview with Auto Motor und Sport

Jean Todt Ferrari’s Formula One Team General ManagerFerrari’s General Director, Jean Todt, had a short interview with German magazine Auto Motor und Sport where he said that both Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso are excellent drivers but basically the difference between them is made by their cars. Todt, explained also that he preferred Kimi Raikkonen over the Spaniard because “Kimi’s character is most suited for a team like Ferrari”.

Jean Todt: “I don’t know if Kimi is better or worse than Alonso. It is not for me to say, both are excellent drivers. Instead, the difference between them are their cars”. “Of them, Kimi’s character is best for us”.

Todt, also revealed that it was Micheal Schumacher’s decision not to be in charge of Ferrari’s Direzione Sportiva. “Michael was the best candidate of all, but he did not want to”, the Frenchman said.
