Sebastien BourdaisScuderia Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Bourdais has been penalised by the race stewards with a five-place grid penalty for having blocked BMW’s Nick Heidfeld during Saturday’s Qualifying session for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Frenchman, who was on an out-lap at the time, was right in front of Heidfeld’s F1.08 on the last turn before the finish line. The German instead, was completing his final flying lap in Q1 but due to Bourdais’ slow running, failed to make it to Q2.

With the penalty applied, the Toro Rosso driver will start Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix from the 10th row (P19), next to Force India’s Adrian Sutil (P20).
