Fisichella satisfied with VJM01 progress

VJM01 Front ViewFollowing this week’s testing Session at Jerez in Spain, the Italian veteran Giancarlo Fisichella said to be completely satisfied with Force India’s VJM01 progress. In an interview with German motorsport magazine Auto Moto und Sport, the Italian compared his new team with Red Bull’s recent progress. “We can go the same way as them. We now have the necessary money, good people and two wind tunnels. We just need time,” Fisichella said.


“I believe in the project even if the first half of the season will surely be tough, but it is something we have to go through,” he added.

Auto Motor und Sport, revealed also that, thanks to a technical development scheduled by Force India for debut this season – a quick-shift gearbox – the Indian F1 Team expects immediate speed improvements.
