Felipe MassaFelipe Massa has been handed a new chassis for this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix as Ferrari set their sights on closing the gap to title rivals McLaren. Massa’s new car, chassis number 263, was shaken down by the Maranello outfit in the summer break prior to being shipped to Istanbul, where this weekend’s race takes place.

As well as preparing the new car, Ferrari have spent time in recent weeks working on their operating procedures following the refuelling error in Hungary qualifying that left Massa stranded in the pits. The team reviewed numerous pit stop situations, and the pit crew have been actively practicing their stops to ensure no repeat problems in the future.
