Briatore: “Renault must defend in first three races” 

ING Renault Managing Director, Flavio Briatore, has suggested that Fernando Alonso’s view in regards to the ‘30% chances of winning the title in 2008‘, is somehow ‘optimistic’. “If Fernando says that we have a 30% chance of winning, then he is optimistic. I see our chances at about 25%,” Briatore told local sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian businessman said that the French outfit has to defend its position in the first three races and should move forward when back in Europe.”We must defend our position and take some points in the first three races, because when we go back to Europe we have some important changes that should make us move forward.”
