Bernie EcclestoneFormula One Management Chief Bernie Ecclestone has warned the FIA Senate members that if f1′s governing body President Max Mosley survives the vote of confidence in today’s Extraordinary Assembly Meeting in Paris, he will stand for re-election in 2009 and could remain in office for another six years. “The problem is, if he stays until 2009, he will run again,” Ecclestone was quoted as saying to The Times newspaper.

“I am 100% certain about that; no, one million per cent certain. That’s what he said. He says: ‘I don’t have to do anything. There’ll be another election and I can stand if I want.’”, he added.
