2008 Bahrain GP, 2nd Free Practice Session: Felipe Massa remains on top
During the second free practice session for the 2008 Bahrain Grand Prix, Ferrari confirmed this morning’s pace with Felipe Massa leading again teammate Kimi Raikkonen. The Brazilian clocked an outstanding lap (1:31.420, almost one second quicker than Raikkonen) around the end of the session. Heikki Kovalainen had the 3rd best time while teammate Lewis Hamilton, who ended earlier the session after a crash in the barriers (lost the car on the kerbs at Turn 6 and hit the barriers at Turn 7), the 4th. BMW’s Robert Kubica finished 5th followed by Nico Rosberg (6th), David Coulthard (7th), Kazuki Nakajima (8th), Sebastien Bourdais (9th) and Nelson Piquet jr. (10th).
