Red BullDavid Coulthard took over today driving duties to sample the delights of the short version of the Le Castellet track, as Red Bull Racing continued its preparation for rounds six and seven of the Formula One World Championship, in Monte Carlo and Canada. Coulthard ended up fourth fastest today, despite being slightly delayed by a couple of technical problems and some rain showers around lunchtime. The programme included testing some new aerodynamic components as well as trying different mechanical setups, using some new items on the car. Overall, the team is reasonably confident that it heads for Monaco in good shape after these past two days testing.

Tomorrow, its time to rip the wings off RB4 and set off for some low downforce work on a version of the Paul Ricard track that features long Montreal-style straights. Sebastien Buemi will be on driving duty.
